If my application passes the initial review, I agree to a virtual or in-person home visit at the rescue's discretion before a foster decision is made.

I agree to treat our foster pet as a family companion. I will provide the pet with a safe home, adequate food, water, proper care, exercise, love and attention. I also agree not to violate any laws or ordinances with the foster pet.

Administer monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative medication which will be provided by Zoe's Home upon request.

I agree to keep the foster pet inside my home when no one is at home. If I will be away for a prolonged period of time or on vacation, I agree to arrange for proper care of the foster pet with the assistance of Zoe's Home, if needed. I understand that there are many unknowns with a rescue pet. I will watch for any health and behavioral issues that may arise while the foster pet is in my care and notify the rescue immediately. I understand that Zoe's Home will inform me of the known health and behavioral history of the foster pet

Prior to taking the foster pet for vet care, I will request authorization from Zoe's Home. I understand that Zoe's Home does not pay for, nor reimburse for, veterinary care under any circumstances without prior authorization. If I visit a vet other than one designated by Zoe's Home without prior authorization, I understand that I will be responsible for payment of all veterinary fees incurred.

If I wish to adopt the pet I am fostering, I understand that I must complete and comply with the application process. Our application will be considered and final decision rests solely with Zoe's Home and its team. If approved for adoption, I agree to pay the adoption fee.

FOSTER DOG APPLICANTS: I agree to have a clean, secure fenced area for the dog. If no fencing is available, I agree to leash walk the foster dog. Under no circumstances is the dog to be kept routinely on a runner, tie out or be allowed off leash.

I agree that my foster pet will not be used for illegal activities, abused, neglected or abandoned under my care. Zoe's Home reserves the right to remove a pet from the premises if said pet is under any danger or shows physical or emotional signs of neglect or abuse in any way for any reason

I agree to allow Zoe's Home to conduct home visits, wellness checks and/or telephone check-ins to ensure the welfare and safety of the foster pet.

If for whatever reason I am unable to keep the foster pet, I MUST return the pet to Zoe's Home. I agree not to re-home, give away or sell the foster pet. I acknowledge that all potential adopters must be approved and screened by a representative from Zoe's Home. I agree NOT to release the foster pet to any family or friends who have submitted an adoption application for the pet I am fostering before an approval to adopt is issued by Zoe's Home

Zoe's Home and its team shall not be held responsible or liable, in any way or for any reason, for the actions of the foster pet when he/she is not within our immediate care, custody and control. Zoe's Home is always available to consult, advise and provide assistance to maintain and enhance the health, training and compatibility of the foster pet. I agree to contact a team member for any questions I may have about my foster pet.

If any of the terms and conditions of this Foster Application and Agreement are breached by me, the foster, Zoe's Home has the right to demand the immediate return of the foster pet at any time. If I, the foster, fail to return the pet, Zoe's Home will seek a court order for the return of the foster pet. Court costs and attorney's fees incurred will be responsibility of the foster.

This Foster Application and Agreement is a legal contract and shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the Foster and Zoe's Home. Both parties have fully read and understood all of the terms hereof, which sets forth all promises, conditions, and understandings, oral or written.
